How to Apply
Step 1
Decide which course you want to study. You can get advice from either your school careers advisor (if you are still at school) or you can book an appointment with one of our qualified careers advisors.
Step 2
Come along to one of our Open Days to find out more. This will also give you the opportunity to meet the tutors and current learners and discover more about the excellent facilities available at all our campuses.
Step 4
As soon as we receive your application, you will be given an interview date and time. The interview will be with one of our Student Recruitment Team and don’t worry; you can bring your parents or guardians if you want to.
You will then be invited for a Showcase Session where you will meet the tutor and some of the other potential students. You will also have a short interview with the tutor.
At the end of the interview, you may be offered a place on your chosen course. If you confirm that you wish to accept the offer then it will be held for you and not offered to anyone else, subject to you fulfilling the entry requirements.
In June, you will be invited to a Welcome Day where you can gain some practical experience in your chosen subject, meet new friends and get to know Scarborough TEC and the staff a bit better.
Step 5
Enrol on your course late August/early September. The enrolment dates vary from year to year and you will be told your enrolment date well in advance.
Congratulations! You’re now a student at Scarborough TEC and can look forward to innovative, inspiring teaching and learning plus you can take part in lots of other activities.
